My very own animated feature!

(I couldn't resist. The resemblance was just too uncanny. Especially the whole wearing-a-gold-trimmed-blue-jacket-vest-and-naught-else thing.)

EDIT: The original pic, for those who are curious. I'm frightened by how little was actually changed. o.o;

	LOL! I first saw this movie while in Germany. Unfortunately, it was only in French but you kinda get the jist of the story just by watching it. I made a few LJ icons from it and I was told it looked like you grinz (Reply to this) (Thread)

	I dunno. I wouldn't feel right about it, even if it isn't available in the States. I'd rather wait until they get a distributor here (and it looks like they may have - check out Porchlight Entertainment). (Reply to this) (Parent)(Thread)

Lucky you! I'm curious... are their mouth movements in French or English? Because in the first vid I posted in my previous entry, they're quite clearly animated to the English dialogue, and the mouth movements don't appear to be synchronized in the second, French-dialogue one (though it could be YouTube and/or bad audio sync for that particular ad). I'm wondering whether they actually re-animated for the English version or whether it was originally done to English?

Yes, I noticed that in the vid too.

I could play the parts and see if they match. Otherwise, it is impossible to tell as I don't know what they are supposed to be saying :/

With CGI, I suppose they "could" re-animate it for English. Unlike anime where they have to improvise with the "ma-ma-ma" of the mouth :P

BTW, I tried to find it in Germany. but I couldn't... so Cheetah let me rip his copy. I fully intend to buy it if it is available in English!
(also, I can't play a European DVD on my DVD player anyway)
